This is a long narrow lake on the Fergus system located to the north east of Corofin (about 8 kms from Corofin on the road to Gort, route R 460). This lake produced a record Tench of 8.15 lbs caught by Nick Parry on 20/06/95. Since then Nick has caught several large Tench from this water. Over recent years a number of specimen Tench have been verified by the Irish Specimen Fish Committee. This lake is under fished mainly because of its inaccessible nature.
