9lb 12oz bream for young angler at Lanesborough

The fishing at Lanesborough continued to provide good sport for anglers over the last few days. Eric Thomas, 12, caught this 9lb 12oz bream fishing yesterday morning. It is a super fish and the biggest we have heard to have come from the Hot Water Stretch this year. The bream was weighed on certified scales and a specimen claim will be submitted to the Irish Specimen Fish Committee.
