A trip down the River Camlin and a wonderful catch of Bream and Roach

July 4th, 2012 | by Nancy Hearne

Weather is muggy and wet with very little wind. All the rivers have burst their banks with the Suck and Shannon almost unfishable. The Inny is running high and flowing very hard.

Peter has been busy down on the River Camlin at Clondragh Harbour catching large Bream and Roach. He took Chris for a trip down there and they managed a Tench and a large Hybrid in a few hours of fishing.

Down in Doonis Bog there was some excitement when a Pine Marten popped out for a photo opportunity before climbing to the top of a tree and settling down and going to sleep.
