Feeder fishing and prebaiting for bags to 189lb in Longford
September 6th, 2012 | by Myles Kelly
Fishing in and around the Longford areas has been very good with catches ranging from 85lb to 189lb, feeder fishing has produced the best catches using various bait cocktails. Prebaiting has also been the key to their catches, water levels on some places are still high but the fish have continued to feed well.
Nick from Belgium who we reported on last week fishing with his farther rounded off his week with a fine catch of Bream and Tench.
Phil, Les and Tony who are regulars to Melview Lodge in Longford started the week well with some good catches of Bream, Tench and Roach. Prebaiting every evening paid off for them, fishing mainly feeder at 30 yrds using various cocktails see them catch Bream to 5lb and Tench to 4lb 8oz along with plenty of good Roach.
Next week we report on how the second part of their week went and it’s looking good, so log on next week.
