Lovely conditions on Lower Bann, nets to 12kg weighed in

Lower Bann CAA reports on their latest trip to the river…

Nice day on the Bann

08 April: A beautiful spring day greeted the 18 anglers who contested the opening round of the Lower Bann 2018 summer league.

Feeder tactics proved the most productive method and most enjoyed plenty of bites as the river ran at full capacity.

Colin Elder on peg 18 topped the scales with 6 Kilo 050g, very closely followed by Johnny McKinley on 6Kilo 030g from peg 17. Johnny Keith was 3rd with 5Kilo 700. John Taggart had the best weight in section in the 40’s with 4Kilo 680. This also gave John 4th position overall.
