August 15th, 2012 | by Myles Kelly

Fergus Lynch reports:

Drumshanbo Area – water levels on Lough Allen are still very high with very few anglers fishing, however Sheemore Anglers braved the conditions – their best bag was 9Lb.

Royal Canal Clondra Longford – Very quiet with nobody fishing.

Lough McHugh – fished by a Hungarian Angler, staying with Brian Bohan, had some Tench and small Bream, he also fished Lough Bran and had a lot of small Roach.

Drumsna, Leitrim – Brian Madden from Newtownforbes, fishing from  the harbour wall at Drumsna  on Sunday last,  had a relatively good bag of roach up to 11 lbs despite very high water levels
