February 10th, 2012 | by Paul Bourke
Michael Homoly from Charleville in Cork was fishing at O’Brien’s Bridge on the lower Shannon during the week. Using a variety of dead baits he caught a number of pike. The best fish was a 22lb. hen which was measured at 41.5 inch long. After a quick photo the fish was safely returned.
