Pawel Orlow reports that the Fishmaniak pike boat competition was held last weekend (28th September 2014) on River Erne in Belturbet. The competition started at 8.30am following a meeting and short briefing. Each team got a club measuring tape so that each fish captured could be measured. The event was very successful, 2 of our members managed to catch 2 big pike over 100cm: one was caught by Maciej Tokarski – 104cm, another one caught by Maciej Zielinski – 102cm. 16 contestants who took part on this venue managed to catch 64 pike all together. After the event we had a barbecue and the prize-giving.

2nd place – Maciej Zielinski – 6 pike/467cm
