A slow days for O’Casey’s pike anglers as league draws to a close

O’ Casey’s Pike Angling Club held their penultimate heat of its 2014 league on 23 November at a lake in Co. Monaghan. Fishing was slow, probably due to the water levels being high with all the rain that fell over the last couple of weeks.

Results were, as follows:

1st Eddie Mc Guirk 26Ib 8oz (10 fish)
2nd Mickey Doherty 11Ib 4oz (4 fish)
3rd David Devlin 6Ib 10oz (2 fish)

Heaviest fish: 6Ib 7oz caught by Eddie Mc Guirk

Total fish: 27
