Belgium anglers David, Baptiste, Jean-C and Xavier were over in Ireland for their annual fishing trip. They are regular visitors to Ireland and Melview Fishing lodge so know their way around. Using both lures and dead baits they managed some great fishing.

The guys would be out on the boats nearly all day but they come ashore and do a spot of fishing from the banks too. It was great to see some very nice and healthy Pike coming from the smaller rivers this time of year. Despite some cold and rainy days the guys just fished on and had a great week.

The social side of things in the evenings were fun, I think it could have something to do with the Belgium beer. Thanks guys see you all again soon.

All fish returned unharmed.
