French anglers pleased with their catch of Pike in Leitrim

Gortinty Lake
Last week 6 French Anglers guided by Fabien Millet from Lyon and staying at McGuires Cottages in Drumshanbo had great fishing on Gortinty Lake near Drumsna Co Leitrim. In all they had 68 pike for the week the best of which was 1.19m all the fish were returned alive – nice fishing and all went back to Lyon very pleased with the weather and the pike fishing.
River Shannon Longford
Two Dutch journalists staying in Longford last week had very good pike fishing with flies on River Shannon.
