Lough Ree pike for French angler after a tough day

Michael Flanagan from Midland Angling reports on a rough days piking last Saturday on Lough Ree:

Few tough days on Ree with pal Pierre Henneron.  Lovely weather and Lake has dropped.  All small pike,and yesterday Friday they ripped our lures to bits.  Bit of repairing to do today and back down tomorow. Screaming Reels dead baits making waves on the Predator scene.  Helen Keane up in Donegal told Midland Angling top two anglers in recent James Smith Memorial Cup were using their dead baits.
