Perch and pike on Ennell despite Mediterranean conditions

July 31st, 2013 | by

Alan Thomas and David Beggs from Carrickfergus were drifting across the Midlands last week and spent a days on Ennell with guide Michael Flanagan and also dropped over to Lough Aishling Rainbow Fishery near Edenderry. Its a regular trip for Alan as his wife family are living near Tullamore.

The lads had some sport in Mediterranean conditions on Ennell, and boated colourful Perch and a few small pike. The lads are keen fly anglers and hope to get back to the Midlands and check out Owel and Lene quite soon.
