Big salmon taking well on the Suir

September 28th, 2012 | by Myles Kelly

Tony O’Brien and Ady Fishman got the salmon fishing they had hoped for last Wednesday on the River Suir. The anglers were fishing with Philip Maher of Fishhunt on his beats at Kilsheelin and elsewhere on the river. One of the bigger salmon, a coloured cock fish was caught and safely released by Philip himself.

Tony who was also fishing for some of the big Suir trout had a bonus fresh salmon
