The Coomhola River can be found just outside of Bantry on the main road to Kenmare in County Cork. Good runs of grilse are caught every season as well as a small run of sea trout during July and August.  Methods used here are fly and spin and open season for salmon is from 17 March to 30 September. Sea trout season runs from 17 March to 12 October. More at http://fishinginireland.info/salmon/southwest/coomhola.htm
