All things quiet and calm on Lough Melvin

February 27th, 2013 | by

Lindsey Clarke reports from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 18th to Sunday 24th February 2013.

The weather was more conducive to fishing this week with drier more settled conditions. Air temperatures were low however all week with daytime temperatures rarely exceeding 4°C. A number of boats ventured out but overall the lough was quiet and I have yet to hear of any salmon being caught.
