Rousseaux’s lovely sea trout on the Shannon !

July 13th, 2012 | by Nancy Hearne

Lorainne O’Donnell IFI reports from the Shannon:

I got these photos today both from the ESB and from the angler.  It is very unusual to get a sea trout on the Shannon.  It was caught by Edouard Rousseaux

A delighted Edouard tell us “I had the fish on a brass spoon just after the first big pool up to the first water fall.

The fish had a big jump about 1 m high just after the attack, and after that a strong fight in high water of this rainy month of July.”
