Steady water levels but little angling activity on the Drowes

August 30th, 2016 | by

Lindsey Clarke reports from  the RIVER DROWES – Monday 22nd  to Sunday 28th August 2016.

Water levels on the Drowes remained fairly steady over the week with the gauge reading around 0.56m all week. The fishery was very quiet however and not many rods fished over the week. There was a few grilse recorded. Maurice Kettles and his son both caught a fish and there were a couple of other grilse recorded. Overall it was a fairly quiet week though.
