Blue Shark to 2.1 metres along with huge range of species for anglers fishing out from Courtmacsherry.

Charter skipper Mark Gannon reports on deep sea fishing for his clients fishing out from Courtmacsherry.

The gloomy  wet weather has not stopped the clients of Courtmacsherry Angling from having good fishing.

The fish caught the last week include Ling to 23lb.  from an offshore wreck, Shark to 2.1m, and in the bay good Pollack, cod, Conger, Ling, Bullhuss, dogfish, cuckoo wrasse, Ballan wrasse, Pouting, Mackerel, Dabs, Gurnard, Coalfish,and Thornback Ray to 14lb.

In the Estuary the Bass anglers had good sport last weekend with a group of English anglers catching plenty of Bass on live sandeel.  Other anglers trolling lures and spinning from the shore also did well.
