Deadly duo take a pair of specimen gilthead bream
August 23rd, 2012 | by Myles Kelly
Catching big fish might well be something you inherit… Conor Hennessy (son of IFI’s Micheal Hennessy) caught a 4lbs 8oz specimen Gilthead Bream and Liam Millerick (son Jonh Millerick – no stranger to the pages of the Irish Specimen Fish reports) had an even bigger Gilthead at 4lbs 10oz.

The pair were fishing at Rosscarbery Co Cork. Using lugworm for bait they met a number of good giltheads. Both these specimens were released alive after pictures were taken and the fish were weighed on a registered scales.
