16 July: Lady Gwen IIDrifting for pollock today, and we had good steady fishing all day.

Clare Dragoon: Fished today and yesterday with a lovely father and son team. After all the lovely weather the sea was a lot more mixed. But at last we came on some good Mackerel shoals. We tried my first drift of the year for blue shark and although it was a bit earlier than I normally try for them I had high hopes as there are reports of them being caught north of here. However with a good drift and plenty ruby dubby we did not even get a run. There where some good gurnard and whiting from the bottom.

18 July: Lady Gwen IINice flatties and pollock today, with some fine big spurdogs, which became a nuisance after a while taking our baits.
