Great numbers of tope and hounds keep anglers busy on the Wickow coast

Wicklow Boat Charters report on a great start to August including High numbers of Tope and Specimen Smooth Hound still showing.

Inshore and Offshore marks have been steadily producing Tope for the last 5 weeks. While the Hounds still show through the last Month, most anglers switch to target tope this Month however Specimen Hounds are still getting caught.

Outside of the usual suspect fish we’ve had a few new species this year with, Red Mullet, Garfish, Conger and a few Haddock lately.
