  • August 10th Blackhead – 4pm – 8pm     John Cullinan Cup
  • August 11th Ballyreen – 4pm – 8pm      O’Donohue Cup
  • August 12th Fanore Beach – 1pm – 3pm     Martin Lucas Trophy

Entry Fees:    Adult €80.00, Juvenile €35.00   for the week.

Anglers who pay entry fee for the full week on the first day get free entry to Team competition.

Burren Cup:  All anglers aged 60 years and over are eligible to enter, and there are no extra entry fees.  Greatest number of points will decide the winner.

Presentation of prizes: O’Donoghue’s Pub in Fanore on Saturday 12th August at 5.30pm.

Prizes for 1st, each Zone (Seniors) and best Juvenile each day. Prizes for top ten anglers (minimum) overall for the week. Special prize for most species over the week, and best Team of the Week.

56th     Annual Competition.

  • August 13th  Blackhead – 1pm – 5pm

All competitions are fished under I.F.S.A. rules and all competing anglers must hold a current I.F.S.A. membership card.

Draw for peg numbers will take place one hour prior to start of each competition.

Points are awarded on basis of 5 points per fish and 10 points per kg or fraction of a point pro rata per fraction of a kg. (Note: 4 undersize flatfish at 5pts each and 2 wrasse at 10pts each allowed per Senior Angler per competition)

The officers of the Club kindly ask for your co-operation in our efforts to keep the angling area litter free.

Minimum fish sizes as per I.F.S.A rules will apply. (Except for Species section)
