Mix of species and cod to 42cm for Menapia Anglers

Menapia Sea Anglers kicked off there 2017 season with there first masters competition which was held on Knocknasilogue last week. There were twenty anglers out to brave the conditions.
Winner on the night was Joe Carley with a mixed bag of 30 fish, second place went to Sean Carley with 28 fish and in third place was James Gorden with 25 fish. Species caught on the night included Whiting, rockling, bass, codling, flounder and dabs.
Biggest fish of the night went to new member Kieran Dempsey with a 42 cm codling,

The club was founded in 2000, by a small handful of Wexford anglers. It was felt that to retain and grow interest & membership of a successful club, it would have to engage a wide variety shore-angling, that would cater for all. For more information see
