Mackerel to specimen size were caught in our first trip

08 April: Our first specimen of the season and surprisingly it was a mackerel of 1.2kg caught today. Hundreds of coalies and pollack up to 3kg and a few codling and ling in the mix but the mackerel trumped the lot, a real fatty crammed with sandeel.
