December 15th, 2017 | by

After a record year Wicklow Boat Charters were only too happy to present the Awards for the Customer Competitions 2017 last weekend. Hosted at the Grand Hotel Residents Lounge, Wicklow, a good evening was had by all, and a good night by those who could stay after.

The full results are below, but I will mention just a few. On the Junior anglers front it was great to see 3 well deserved winners. John Patrick Chew took the Shimano reel 1st prize for his 10.8lb Specimen Smooth-Hound, Leon Reilly collected a nice 20-30lb boat rod for 2nd place after his Hound, Dogs & Tope 2nd place in the Borough SAC competition, and Keelan Reilly in 3rd took home a cool box and landing net for his 2nd boat place on Lisin with the Borough SAC. Theres 3 names we will see in the future of angling.
