Good Catches on Lough Lene in Collinstown
April 13th, 2012 | by David Byrne
Lough Lene in Collinstown, Co Westmeath has been fishing very well of late. Shay Sumner from Navan had six fish on one outing during the week the best of which weighed in at 4lbs. Duckfly patterns, emergers, black pennels and small black dry flies are all producing fish. Luke Walpole also from Navan had 10 rainbows on one outing during the week. All of Lukes fish weighed between 1.5lbs and 2.5lbs.
Permits and Boat hire for Lough Lene are available locally from Tommy Fagan.
