Melvin hard work but songhan taking well for some

Lindsey Clarke reports:
Lough Melvin was fairly quiet once again this week. There was little angling effort for salmon and I have no reports of any catches. The trout fishing was hard work for most rods though there were some decent catches at the weekend with some rods reporting up to 6 good sonaghan per rod.
