Lough Owel season end of season competition results

Lough Owel:
There were three large competitions on the lake over the week as the trout angling season comes to an end. 20 anglers fished the Garda competition on the lake mid week and landed 27 fish with 1st prise been taken with a fish of 4 lb. 14 oz. The Dublin Trout Anglers also spent a day on the lake with Ger Gorman Dublin taking 1st with a bag of trout coming in at 5 lb. 14 oz. John Nugent also had a good day with a fish of 3 lb.
