Rainbows put on a show for the ladies at Annamoe

A great day was had at Annamoe by the ladies fishing in support of Action Breast Cancer

A Ladies Fly Casting Day held on Saturday at Annamoe fishery in aid of Action Breast Cancer. 12 ladies took part and they caught 25 rainbow trout up to 3 lbs.

Glenda Powell (APGAI Ireland) was the lead coach for the Ladies day and she was ably assisted by Mark Corps (Angling Advisor, IFI).

Everyone enjoyed the fishing and the venue and over €500 was raised for the charity.

Annamoe Trout Fishery, Co. Wicklow

Annamoe Trout Fishery is a 4 acre fly fishing lake set in the village of Annamoe, Co Wicklow on the banks of the Avonmore River. The Fishery consists of a fly fishing lake and a Junior Bait Pond. The fly fishing lake is open all year round allowing you to fish for brown or rainbow trout from 10am till dusk.
