The glistening of a golden trout on the river Suir

May 24th, 2012 | by Nancy Hearne

Last saturday Clonanav Fly Fishing held one of their improvers course at Clonanav. They had 4 in attendance and a great day was had by all. The weather was cold and windy, but Andrew tells us they had some fantastic fishing using both nymphs and dry flies.  The PTN flashback was again the most productive fly!

They caught a very nice fish close to 3lbs at Knocklofty bridge on the Suir, which was of course released again to fight another day.
