Trout reported from Pallas lake and the Camcor River despite the mixed weather conditions.

Pallas Lake and the Camcor River by Martin Moffat, IFI Mullingar.
Pallas lake – Aiden Dunne from Rosenallis had three rainbow trout one weighing one and a half pounds and two at a pound weight and he caught them on a hawthorn fly.
Liam Bradley from Kinnity had one brown trout weighing 2.5 lb. caught on a black midge.
Liam Horgan from Portlaoise had two fish weighing 1.5 lb. each caught on a klinkhammer. Weather was mixed in Pallas.
Camcor River is still high and difficult to fish, Brendan McGarry from Banagher caught one Croneen trout 1.5 lb. on an invicta fly.
