Fort William Estate Fishery
21/09 Water levels are at a perfect height now after our recent spate. Clarity is at 3ft and peaty stained but not putting fish off from taking. 10 fish were landed off the fishery yesterday as all beats produced. Mossy Brown and his son Evan had a fish each off the Bishops beat which were returned safely while brother Tony landed a nice fish of 7lbs. Maurice Cahill who was guiding his 2 French guests had a fish each off the Ellis beat also all returned. John Brock landed a nice fish of 8lbs off the Castle on spinner, Martin Mullane released a nice fish off the Castle and then landind a second fine fish of 9lbs,Local angler Derek Dowd released another fine fish of 10lbs off the Weir pool on the Castle beat. George Hanley (party) released a fish of 5lbs off the Glenmore beat.
Prospects are looking real good for the last week as fish are moving in off every tide and the forecast is not to bad to upset water levels.
