Shannon River :

Very little reported since the rise in water levels and local anglers are not expecting any improvement until water levels drop. John Murphy and friend from Cheshire fishing the Salmon Run downstream of Meelick had some great Bream to 7lbs and Hybrids to 4.5lbs on Maggots. Terry Dawson and friend from Lincolnshire reported Roach, Perch and Hybrids to 3lbs at the same venue.

Anglers are reporting some goods bags of fish from the canal around Ferbane, two English anglers had bags of 50lbs mainly of Bream to 4.5lbs and Tench to 5lbs on a mixture of sweetcorn and maggots.
