23 anglers turned out for the latest match in the Float Only Winter League in blustery, mild and dry conditions.
The match was fished on the Finn River at Annies Bridge near Clones. With the venue being pegged above and below the bridge.
The heave rain on Thursday night caused the river to be up about a foot above normal, with the use of flat floats required in some sections.
Although the weights were low plenty of small fish were caught mainly on the pole.
The winner of the match was league leader Neil Mazurek (Cootehill) with 5.600Kgs, he just managed to pip Nick Howell (Kilskeey) 5.470Kgs at the next peg.
Third overall was Tony Kersley (Ballycassidy) 2.600Kgs from peg 9 above the bridge.
The other section winner was Paul Leese (Cootehill) 1.300Kgs on peg 24.
Neil Mazurek (Cootehill) remains on top of the league with 38 points.
