FISHERMEN may be associated with tall tales and ‘the one that got away’ but a group of local anglers have decided to hail the men who landed the big one in Kilkenny over the years.
The Kilkenny City and County Anglers’ Club will launch a new book this weekend. Their work, The History of the Nore Salmon Anglers ‘Hall of Fame’ has compiled the list of anglers who landed the heaviest salmon on the River Nore.
