DUNLEER MAN, John Carney has been convicted and fined for having a bag of salmon and illegal net at Annagassan on September 27th, 2011.
Carney, 53 Beechwood Drive, appeared before Drogheda District Court in handcuffs because he is currently serving a nine-month sentence on unrelated motoring matters.
A solictor acting for Inland Fisheries Ireland said Carney had a number of previous convictions, but said he would detail those which dated ‘ back to the last century’……Argus News…02/04/12…read full article..
