8lb salmon on fly was first fish of season in Fort William Estate

First fish of the season at Fort William Estate goes to Mossy Brown, a nice fish of 8lbs on fly off the Ellis beat.

Over the weekend heavy showers have pushed water levels up just over 2ft which is very welcomed as the river was at a summer time low. Another fish was met and lost again on fly, and also a few fish are starting to show themselves as they are going through the beats. Clarity is at 2ft+ .
