John Flynn IFI reports from the River Nore and River Suir:

Salmon Fishing; Nore and Suir continue to provide wonderful angling to both club members and visitors alike. Reports from Suir indicate that some large fish are being caught with salmon over 20 pounds both caught and lost between Clonmel and Carrick.

Likewise on the Nore anglers have reported a run of big fish, though with water levels dropping it should provide better conditions for angling.

All anglers are asked to be aware and take precautions with regard to Invasive Species and if they require information on such to contact the local IFI personnel or their local IFI Office.
