Philip Maher of Fish Hunt reports:
The upper Blackwater produced some fine salmon to the fly over the weekend. This one fell to an ally shrimp on a sink tip line well up the system near Millstreet. Sadly there is a lot more rain forecast for the coming days and this will put fishing out until next weekend at best. We are still offering day permits at €40 per day on over 20 fine beats on the Blackwater system.
