May 21st, 2012 : While the fishing slowed down last week, for instance no fish were landed on the Clohamon beat, it was marked by the capture of 2 big fish lower downstream with 15 and 19 lb fish being taken. It would seem that many fish have taken the opportunity presented by the heavy rain in the past weeks to run upstream.

In line with other rivers, while the 2012 run has been small, the quality of fish has been excellent with plenty of fish in the teens of pounds and at least 2 fish of circa 19lbs landed todate.
