Cashel Trout Fishery report by Marlene McLaughlin
The weather has been quite pleasant this weekend and anglers are quite happy to give Cashel a throw. Derry’s Aidy Askin released eight beauties which fell to buzzers. Donegal’s Vincent Harkin and Christopher McKinley used buzzers also to bank five in total. Billy Hazlett (Derry) banked one and released quite a few which took a wee suspender buzzer while Dungiven’s John Hasson and Martin Bradley used small lures to make their catches. Pearse Doherty (Maghera) used the egg fly and small lures to bank seven great trout. Kevin Burke (Claudy) released three which took a wee black nymph.
