John Cole of www.innyangling.net reports that Michael and John in Athlone have been fishing on the Canal where they have had good sport with over 17lb of Roach and Hybrids, caught on bread and safely returned to the water.
John visited the River Inny at Shrule Bridge and found it at a very high level. He won’t be fishing here for a while yet as no amount of weight would hold in this torrent.
