Paddy Halpin of Inland Fisheries Ireland’s Limerick office reports that the River Feale was quiet enough last week. There was good fishing water for most of the week after all the rain. A lot of anglers were out but only a few fish were reported. Lucky anglers for the week were Edward Walsh from Listowel who had a great fish of 14lbs at the back of the Hotel in Listowel town on the fly, fresh as a daisy.  On Sunday 16th Bart Murphy from Brosna, Co Limerick had a fish of 7lbs while spinning on the Killocrim/Finuge stretch at the Wall.

We had a big flood on the catchment again on Sunday evening and it was still a bit coloured on Monday17th but should be OK for the rest of the week.
