Paddy Halpin of Inland Fisheries Ireland’s Limerick office reports that it was a very quiet week on the Feale as water levels were very low.  Only 1 fish was reported for the week. The  lucky angler was John Scanlon who had a fish of 6lbs, his first of the year, while fly fishing the North Kerry Anglers waters at the joining’s .

As of 09.00am, today 04 July, there is very low fishing water on the Feale (300mm on the gauge) and it is running clear.  It is overcast now  and 14.C  in a light breeze.
