Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery in Kerry reports that conditions on the river have improved. Water levels are perfect for day fishing because of the rain and the wind has gone south west. There was one salmon caught and released on the river yesterday – it was 8 lbs and there were sea trout caught on the lake. With further rain and showers forecast conditions are perfect for the rest of the week.
