Mike Dennehy, skipper of the Silver Dawn out of Kinsale reports that fishing there of late has been very productive. On their last wreck fishing trip Mike and his crew of anglers had a large haul of ling mostly. Many of the fish were well into double figures, with a good few twenty pounders among them. They also reported lots of lost fish due to bite-offs !
The best fish of the day was a 27lb specimen ling taken by Declan Walsh from Moglass ,Co Tipperary.
