New members welcome to Lough Owel Trout Preservation Association

OWEL A.G.M. On Wednesday March 13^th Lough Owel Trout Preservation Association will hold their Annual General Meeting .The venue is Tullaghan Angling centre, and it’s an 8pm start. There is a packed agenda line up for the night, and new members are more than welcome to come along and join L.O.T.P.A. on the night. Lough Owel also opened on March 1^st, and hopefully in the coming weeks we will get out on Owel. Unfortunately crime has spread to the shores of Lough Owel, and in recent times many cars were broke into while Anglers were out fishing.  In 2012 L.O.T.P.A. erected CCTV cameras at Tullaghan and Mullallys, so hopefully local and visiting anglers will feel a bit more at ease while out on the lake.
