Match angling in Ireland is certainly attracting more anglers than ever with new events and 2015 is going to be very busy!
There are now 42 festivals that begin on St Patrick’s weekend March 13 on Inniscarra Lake and end in November 2-6 on Cavan’s Champion of the Lakes Festival. Ten of the scheduled festival are taking place in Cork, two take place on the River Blackwater at Fermoy and the other eight on Inniscarra Lake – a lake that always has plenty of bank space for pleasure angling.
