The award-winning author is not afraid to delve into great description and often does so with breathtaking success. However, he seamlessly moves from passages with great detail to some dauntingly stocked with technical terms, often seeming lost with his thoughts. His passion for the sport is evident, but readers with limited experience of angling should proceed with caution….
